Abstract
The host–guest interaction between cyclam and 4-tert-butylbenzoic acid has been investigated by NMR titration, X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction and semi-empirical MO calculation; the product represents a system preassembled for metal-ion complexation.Keywords
