Central-Peak Dynamics at the Ferroelectric Transition in Lead Germanate

Abstract
We report spectral line-shape measurements of a singular dynamic central peak associated with a structural phase transition. The quasieleasic light scattering spectra obtained in ferroelectric lead germanate exhibit clear departures from mean-field theory.Keywords
