The phenomenon of eosinophilia was studied in rats using inoculation with Trichinella larvae as the experimental stimulus. Comparisons were made between the eosinophil response accompanying active infestation via the gastrointestinal tract and that resulting from parenteral inoculation of larvae or their products. Keywords
