Background— As the benefits of extemporaneous transplantation (Tx) of fresh (unfractionated) autologous bone marrow (BM) have been primarily studied in the setting of acute myocardial infarction, we assessed whether this approach could be effective for regenerating chronically infarcted myocardium.Keywords
