Abstract
The influence of oil enemas on the colon activity of trained unanesthetized dogs was studied by means of the 6 balloon technique. A method is presented by which the motility is quantitated with reference to the percentage of time during which activity occurred. Augmentation of the colon motility was observed only when the enema was retained. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
