Abstract
Kinetics of the reactions of hydrated electrons with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) have been studied by pulse radiolysis. Hydrated electrons reduce HRP to its ferrous form with a yield of 40%. At higher dose (250 Gy) the formation of compound I followed by its reduction to compound II was also observed. Keywords
