Abstract
A review of the current information on the occurrence of mesothelial tumors [in humans] in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Europe is presented. Information from mining areas indicates that crocidolite asbestos is associated with highest incidence of mesothelial tumors. The work of Timbrell, which indicates the relationshiP between the physical properties of the asbestos fiber and the asbestos related disease, is given emphasis. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
