Abstract
Synechiae involving the iris pigment epithelium and the peripheral anterior lens capsule occur in capsular glaucoma. During cataract extraction they may bring about traction on the capsule threatening its rupture. The ultrastructural basis of these adhesions is a bonding of pigment cells to capsular surface by pseudoexfoliative material. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
