Abstract
Published studies on the little brown bat, Myotis l. lucifugus, such as those of Stegeman (Jour. Mamm., 35: 111–113, 432–433, 1954), Griffin (Jour. Mamm., 21: 181–187, 1940), Smith (Ohio Jour. Sci., 54 (1): 1–12, 1954) and others, leave unanswered many questions about the life of this bat. The following observations were made in a large breeding colony of this species.
