Abstract
We present arguments that militate against Weiner's recent proposal that neutral leptonic currents exist, and against the variants of his proposal of strange leptons that involve charged strange leptons. A modified scheme with the addition of only the strange neutrinos, or of only one of them and its antiparticle, is in agreement with the predictions of the Cabibbo theory with the exception of neutrino-induced reactions. Keywords
