Abstract
The distribution of areas in Norway with eolian forms, both active and dead, is shown. The sources of material and the reason why particular areas are free of vegetation are indicated. The deposits are distinguished from fluvial and glacial accumulations by means of their situation, and morphological and grain size analyses. The areas dealt with in detail are the eastern parts of Southern Norway, the coast from the Swedish border to Haugesund, and small sections of the coast in Möre-Romsdal and eastern Finnmark. Keywords
