Abstract
The effects of H in Ta metal on the isomer shift and linewidth of the 6.2-keV Mössbauer resonance of have been studied as a function of H concentration and temperature. From the results, values for the activation energy of the H diffusion and for the mean residence time of the H atoms in Ta are derived.
