Abstract
Local and generalized sludging of blood in the peripheral circulation is reported in adult cats from cervical sympathetic stimulation, and from local and intraven. epinephrine. This sludge resembles that described by Knisely and his co-workers from injury and disease. It is believed that the observation of changes within the blood from sympathetic overactivity has significance in psychosomatic medicine. Keywords
