[Google Scholar] ) reported the occurrence of an outbreak of abortion in sheep characterized by extensive placental lesions and associated with an organism now designated Brucella ovis (Buddle, 1956 Buddle, M. B. 1956. J. Hyg., 53: 351–351. [Google Scholar] ).
