Abstract
A model of CP violation proposed by Mohapatra and Pati and based on the gauge group SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1) is studied. It is shown that two additional CP-violating phases must be introduced to describe fully CP violation in the four-quark model. Some implications of the new phases are discussed and the constraints on the parameters of the model considered. The consequences of extending the model to include the third generation are investigated.
