Abstract
The normal frequencies are calculated classically including exchange, demagnetizing, and anisotropy fields. Ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic resonance conditions are shown to be special cases of a general formula which is obtained. Conditions under which the Kittel ferromagnetic frequency should be applicable to the two-lattice system are discussed, as well as the possibility of resonance in the exchange field. Keywords
