Transient Neurologic Complication of Positive Contrast Orbitography

Abstract
Orbitography, using a positive contrast material, was performed on a 64-year-old man with carcinoma. The x-rays revealed that the solutions had extended between the sheaths of the optic nerve into the intracranial subdural space. The patient developed temporary vertical nystagmus and contralateral sixth cranial nerve palsy.
