Abstract: A new approach to bubble propagation modelling

Abstract
A new approach to the theory of the modelling of the interaction between bubbles and the permalloy circuit‐elements in bubble devices will be given; it will be demonstrated experimentally as well as theoretically that effects which have not been taken into account until now, positively influence the bubble propagation. A theoretical model is presented with whose help the magnetization distribution can be calculated; in contradiction to the current opinion it will be shown that a great deal of the flux of the bubble punches through the permalloy although the contribution of the vertical component cannot be ignored.
