Abstract
A study of oriental fruit moth (Grapholitha molesta) populations and amts. of injury to ripe fruit has been made to determine whether peaches in orchards adjoining or interplanted with bearing apple trees are more severely injured by the oriental fruit moth than those not adjoining apple trees. There is considerable evidence that peaches in close proximity to apple have a higher average rate of fruit moth injury but this tendency is variable and the differences may not be significant.
