Abstract
Almost enantiomerically pure halogenated α-hydroxy and α-amino ketones can be prepared from O-protected lactates and tribenzylated alanine, respectively; whilst amino ketones 3g have also been transformed into the amino epoxide 7 with high diastereoselectivity. Keywords
