Abstract
In 602 patients treated for carcinoma of the uterine cervix during 1944-1968 (with a 100% follow-up) survival rates at 5, 10, 15 and 20 yr after radiotherapy were 41, 28, 18 and 11%. The crude 5-yr cure rate of over 70% for stage I and 58% for stage II cases, and an overall 5 yr survival rate of 42% for all stages compares favorably with results published from other institutions in the United Kingdom.
