Abstract
An approximate -matrix calculation of elastic nucleon-deuteron scattering is carried out including the effects of two-nucleon tensor forces. The results of these computations, which are carried out in the energy range from 11 to 40 MeV, are in reasonable agreement with the experimental nucleon polarizations and differential cross sections.
