Abstract
Quantitative inhibition of estrogen-induced tissue growth in the female genital tract by a no. of folic acid antagonists is demonstrated in the stilbestrol-treated chick and in the estradiol-treated ovariectomized rat. This inhibition is reversed by the admn. of folic acid. The significance of quantitative interference with hormonally induced tissue growth by an anti-vit. is discussed. Keywords
