Abstract
Natriuretic hormone which inhibits Na+, K+-ATPase may play a role in essential hypertension. From human plasma of healthy subjects, an inhibitor of Na+, K+-ATPase was prepared, using a gel filtration followed by anion exchange chromatography and by high performance liquid chromatography on reverse phase. This low MW (< 1500 dalton) inhibitor is a substance which posesses anionic charges, and is absorbed on reverse phase. It also inhibits 3H-ouabain binding to human red blood cells. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
