Abstract
A report on the status of the electrochemical DNA probes for the detection of a DNA sequence for environmental and clinical studies is presented. The literature on the electrochemistry of DNA in the last ten years is reviewed. Results obtained in this laboratory using an electroactive hybridization indicator for constructing an electrochemical DNA probe are reported. Keywords
