Abstract
The mean serum uric acid level of 49 Hawaiian men was 5.4 mg/100 ml. Although they were as obese, the Hawaiians did not show the hyperuricemia previously reported in another Polynesian people, the Maori. Little correlation between uric acid and body size and serum lipids was evident in this racial group. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
