Abstract
Maize RNA polymerase utilizes heated DNA more effectively than native DNA as a template for ribonucleic acid synthesis. A RNA-DNA hybrid accumulates in the presence of heated DNA. The amount of product formed with either native ore heat-denatured DNA does not exceed the amount of DNA added as template. This publication has 31 references indexed in Scilit:
