Abstract
The Stark widths of the transitions for the Li-like ions CIV, NV, and OVI were measured for the plasma parameters and eV. Within the error limits, the measurements clearly show a dependence of the Stark width on the emitter ionization stage ( for CIV), whereas calculations within the electron-impact approximation yield Stark widths more nearly proportional to .
