The 2 strains showed no differences in gross morphology, lengths and widths of tarsal segments, thickness of tarsal and thoracic cuticula, length of life cycle, avg. weight of individual female flies, or susceptibility to immobilization by heat and cold which could contribute in any degree to the resistance.
