The Arc Spectrum of Palladium

Abstract

A practically complete analysis of Pd I is given, based on previous analyses. The electron structures are $d^{10}$, ${\mathrm{d}}^{9}5s$, $6s$, $7s$ (part of) $8s$ (part of) $d^8{s}^2$ (incomplete) $d^{9}5p$, $d^8\mathrm{sp}$ and $d^{9}6p$ (parts of), $d^{9}5d$, $d^{9}6d$ (almost complete).
