Abstract
Patients with nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy are at substantial risk for sudden death from cardiac causes. However, the value of prophylactic implantation of an implantable cardioverter–defibrillator (ICD) to prevent sudden death in such patients is unknown.Keywords
