Abstract
The metabolic uptake and excretion of iodine has been reported in numerous papers based on measurements of radio-iodine. The author feels that the mathematical formulae for such data have been neglected, and derives analytic expressions of the curves which will enable more precise interpretation of thyroid physiology and comparison of data of different workers. Keywords
