Dilution of Haemophilic Plasma Used as a Reagent in the Determination of Anti-Haemophilic Factor A (Factor VIII)

Abstract
Haemophilic plasma used as a reagent in the determination of factor VIII can be used more economically by dilution (1:1, v/v) with citrated Michaelis buffer. Moreover, dilution results in an increased sensitivity and in a slight increase in the accuracy of the method in comparison to the use of undiluted haemophilic plasma.
