Abstract
Exact solutions are obtained to the classical time-dependent linear bioheat equation in one-dimensional multiregion cartesian and spherical geometries with temperature-invariant physiological parameters. These solutions enable the study of transient temperature behaviour in an arbitrary number of coupled physiologically distinct regions. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
