A technique for prolonged, continuous recording of blood pressure of unrestrained rats

Abstract
A technique for long-term recording of direct arterial blood pressure from a colony of rats is described. A rotary fluid switch is used to sample pressures sequentially from the colony via a single transducer. A digital computer is used for reduction and analysis of the blood-pressure data.
