Abstract
Salicylate reduces the glycosuria and hyperglycemia induced by cortisone in the normal rat. Cortisone causes deposition of liver glycogen in the adrenalectomized rat while the concurrent admn. of salicylate produces not only depletion of existing glycogen but also prevents the deposition of new glycogen by the cortisone. Keywords
