Abstract
Following treatment with estradiol benzoate (85 [mu]g.) for 2 days and progesterone (2 mg.) on the 2d day, 4 of 10 rabbits ovulated "spontaneously" i.e., without the coital stimulus normally required to induce LH release from the hypophysis in this species. Keywords
