Abstract
Admn. of 0.5 mg. DOCA for 2 weeks to pair-fed 90-g. rats reduced rate of linear growth, wt. gain, and both epiphyseal and periosteal tibial growth. This effect is not reduced by admn. of NH4Cl. In hypophysectomized rats, DOCA reduced the linear growth produced by hypophyseal growth hormone, but did not interfere with increase in body wt.Keywords
