Abstract
The beta-globulin (perhaps the edestin of others) of barley seeds was isolated and its purity tested by electrophoresis, diffusion, and ultracentrifuge. After hydrolysis the qualitative and quantitative amino acid compositions were detd. by starch chromatography. Tyrosine and tryptophan were detd. spectrophotometrically. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
