Abstract
In the normal rat most of the Ca45 is bound to albumin and alpha-globulin. After parathyroidectomy the Ca45 decreases in the albumin and increases in the alpha-globulin fraction. In animals treated with estrogen most of the Ca45 was present in the beta and gamma-globulin components. In the parathyroidectomized-estrogen-treated animals highest amounts of Ca45 were found in either albumin, alpha- or beta-globulin fractions. Keywords
