Electron microscopy study of stage-2 graphite-SbCl5

Abstract

This paper reports an experimental study of the commensurate-to-glass phase transition in stage-2 graphite-Sb${\mathrm{Cl}}_5$ by electron diffraction. Also presented are the first ($00l$) lattice fringe imaging results for a graphite-Sb${\mathrm{Cl}}_5$ compound, showing large (600 × 2000 ${\mathrm{\AA }}^2$) well-staged and defect-free regions.
