Abstract
The structure and stereochemistry (exclusive of the configuration of the methyl group at C-4) of bruceoside-A, a novel antileukaemic quassinoid glycoside isolated from Brucea javanica(Linn) Merr., have been established from chemical transformations, correlations, and spectral analyses.
