Abstract
A mixture of Z-11-hexadecen-1-ol acetate and Z-11-hexadecen-1-ol in a ratio of 9:1 was found to be a specific attractant for the adult male clover cutworm, Scotogramma trofolii (Rottenberg), in the field. The mixture was used at 0.1 and 1.0 mg on rubber bands and polyethylene carriers in a cylindrical cone-type trap. The pure chemicals alone were nonattractive.
