Abstract
A review article in which the following subjects are considered (1) The homeostatic mechanism of the liver; (2) The influence of the pancreas; (3) The role of the ant. hypophysis; (4) The triple glucose tolerance test for the diagnosis of hypo-pituitarism; (5) The influence of the adrenal cortex and the thyroid; (6) Liver dysfunction and blood sugar regulation; (7) The intravenous glucose tolerance test for liver dysfunction; (8) The complexity of regulation in the living organism; (9) Clinical disturbances in the endocrine regulation of the blood sugar. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
