SYNDROME OF STEATORRHEA, PSEUDOHYPOPARATHYROIDISM AND AMENORRHEA

Abstract
The case of a young woman presenting tetany is discussed. Effect of probenecid on P and Ca metabolism was studied in this case, and also in a patient with postoperative hypoparathyroidism. In each instance probenecid caused a fall in the serum P level without a change in urinary P, and a rise in urinary Ca without a change in serum Ca level.
