Abstract
Electron microscopic study of 2 subcellular fractions isolated from rat cerebral cortex, selected as representatives of mitochondria and microsomes, respectively, indicates a high degree of heterogeneity in their particulate populations. These fractions contain some structural entities which apparently do not correspond to those found in analogous preparations from other organs. A number of particles cannot at present be identified with certainty. Keywords
