Abstract
Thick films of Y-Ba-Cu oxides were prepared on silicon and alumina substrates by the plasma spraying method. As-sprayed films were semiinsulating, and postoxidation was necessary to obtain superconducting films. It was found that the content of copper in the starting material powder is important in producing good-quality samples with onset T c's around 90 K.Keywords
