Effects of Adrenal Ligation and Adrenergic Blockade on Pressor Responses to Acetaldehyde in Dogs.

Abstract

In anesthetized dogs statim injns. of acetaldehyde caused a pressor response before and after bilateral adrenal vessel ligation. Following adrenal ligation, the pressor response was reversed by an adrenergic blocking drug.
