Abstract
Frequency of occurrence of 2 eggs in the oviduct of the hen can be increased by removing hens from their usual laying quarters just before laying. When a fully formed egg is retained in the shell-gland beyond the normal period of time elapsing between ovulation and oviposition that the surface of the succeeding egg in contact with the former is abnormal in shape. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
