Abstract
Thirteen monoclonal antibodies (McAb) showing subclass-specific and subclass-restricted reactivity to human IgG were produced [from mouse spleen cells and P3-NS1/Ag1 myeloma cells] by the hybridoma technique. Their specificity has been defined by passive hemagglutination and hemagglutination-inhibition assays using a large panel of purified IgG paraproteins of known subclass. Their use in assaying human IgG subclasses in radial immunodiffusion and in purifying human subclasses by both positive and negative immunoabsorption chromatography is illustrated. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
